Prepare one-half cup of tea at least 15 minutes before eating or two hours after eating 2-4 times daily. Do not take at bedtime if it affects your rest. It is suggested to cycle on and off rather than to take it continuously.

To Prepare: Put 8 tsps. of Tea into 5 cups of boiling water. Reduce heat and simmer (barely boil) the tea in a pot without a lid for 30 minutes. Strain. Makes 4 cups of tea. It can be taken hot or very cold. Ice cubes and Stevia may be added. Tea may be stored in refrigerator in glass (or plastic) jar with lid for up to one week.

For preparation, adding 1/2 tsp. of lemon juice to each cup of water used may alter the tea’s astringency.
